You might wonder where the name "Gusinde" came from. The name of an officer of the "German Schutztruppe" was Gusinde. He acquired this farmland in the territory of the tribe of the Hereros in the early nineteenhundreds. This nostalgic as well as historic background of the farm inspired the new owners, Hans and Gloria Ziller, to build Burg Gusinde. Burg Gusinde is an exclusive lodge for six maximum eight guests at the same time. Why room for only so few people at the same time? The private atmosphere of the house gives you a feeling of shelter and safety, you can in the best mean of the words "feel at home".
