How to find
Burg Gusinde and Osema Farmhaus
coming from Windhoek:
- B6 from Windhoek to International Airport / Gobabis
- After 20 km at Kappsfarm turn left, direction Midgard
- After 12 km turn left at the crossroad to D2102
- Pass Neudamm Agricultural Farm Division
- After ca. 19 km you'll cross the river Nossob. A sign shows that there should be a river!
- 50 m after you have crossed the Nossob, there is a sign "Osema/Gusinde" on the left hand side of the street. Turn left to the first farm-gate
- After 5 km comes a double-gate - take the right one (shows animals and sign "Oruhungu")
- Stay straight ahead on the farm road
- Farm-gate Okatjeru
- Stay straight ahead and take the next diversion left (not Bobbejan Dam)
- On the second diversion right (see sign "Osema-Gusinde")
- Stay on the farmroad until you come to the gate with a sign "Osema - Gusinde"
- Stay straight ahead and you'll come to Osema Farmhaus
- Pass the Farmhaus and follow the arrows on the stones to Burg Gusinde
Take about 1 ½ hours.
